Earning a CMA gives you higher credibility and status in the accounting industry. As IMA states, “CMAs can explain the ‘why’ behind numbers, not just the ‘what", and knowing the “why” becomes a crucial skill in order to grow to a management level. US CMA can easily be called your ticket to having the authority of making business decisions and the skill which would ultimately lead you to a seat at the leadership table.
