Opportunities to trek in the Himalayas. A lot of you had responded saying that you would love to explore a Himalayan trek but the lack of leaves from office is the main deterrent. Now assuming that the Christmas New year time is a lean period for a lot of offices, we have introduced a new Himalayan trek during that period. Indiahikes has opened the Kedarakantha summit trek (www.indiahikes.in/kedarkantha) for a winter expedition this year too. The winter expedition is a good chance to spend the Christmas New year holiday period in the lap of the Himalayas away from the city rush. Trekking on snow and snow fall would be a new experience for a lot of people too. Kedarkantha Summit overlooking the Supin river on the western fringes of Uttarakhand is a remote trek through dense forests and high alpine meadows.
