I wonder some time that, Is there any such politics happen? in offce..Ya of course it happens. Among the employees, everyone wants a good pay hike, promotion, growth, recognition and rewards. For this they will do everything. We cant blame anyone, all is part of a game. I will share some experiences...which may be useful for someone.
Punctuality is the first character of a employee. When an employee comes to office daily in time, it gives a good impression on the employee. What extra you can do is, if you come a little bit early than your colleagues and boss, it gives you an extra edge to you. You will catch everybody's attention. When you want to leave the office, never go earlier. Try to work extra hard, extra time So, your presence will be noticed by your Boss. So many times what happens, is Boss will get some free time after office hours, you have a time to chit chat with him to build a rapport.Sometimes he may discuss with you crucial issues what ever happening in your organisation.There is a possibility to know about any new opportunities ..and growth areas where you can explore. Its very much advisable to leave the office after your Boss leave's the office.
